Well during the last couple of weeks I have discovered Dakara Kies and Susan Shumsky. Two amazing spiritual speakers. Susan Shumsky explains that anyone seeking to expand their intuition needs to know the difference between true intuition and fake intuition.
Divine guidance can be thought of as receiving direction, answers and so forth from your higher self, guides such as those who come from the source – (God, Light, however you choose to define source) and archangels. That’s devine guidance!
Fake guidance comes from three different levels. The mental or ego level, that’s when you are actually talking to yourself, the chatter in your mind. The environment level, this is when you are picking up other peoples feelings and thoughts. This can also be mind reading. The last one is the astro level. According to Susan the guides that connect with you from the astro level are spirits that for whatever reason have not moved on into the light so to speak. They do not come from the source.
I think it is just common sense to always state (during meditation or prayer etc) that any guidance given comes from the source. It’s worth connecting to divine guidance because of the profound healing and directions you can receive.
There are 6 signals to help you ensure you are connecting to devine guidance and not fake guidance. They are sensory signs via ones inner mind. Here they are:
Seeing – You may see light energy, colours of light, divine pictures or symbols.
Hearing – you may hear something such as buzzing, celestial sounds such as bells, singing, humming, music.
Taste – you may feel like you can taste something sweet and wonderful in the back of your mouth.
Smell – you may smell fragrances that are of a divine nature – maybe Rose’s, Jasmine, Gardenia’s or Sandalwood. Some type of fragrance.
Physical – feelings in the body for instance electricity going through your body, or pinpricks somewhere on the body, lightness, heavyness, heat or coolness / cool breeze, a sensation that your body or part of your body is either expanding or getting smaller, feel like something is touching the body and any kind of body sensation that stands out such as spiraling.
Involuntary body movements – such as you notice your eyelash or eyelid flutters, eyes or head seems to want to roll back, body jerking such as a finger starts moving / twitching involuntary.
There are other steps to ensure you receive clear divine direction but I hope that the signals from Susan’s work has been informative and is something you can put into practice right now.
Now onto Dakara Kies. Dakara speaks about ‘Gate-keepers’. It might sound scary, but its not. I guess other words for Gate-keeper/s could be limiting beliefs, your inner critic/s, past memories that are locked deep within you that are negatively impacting on your life. See; ‘Gate-keeper’ not so scary. I found her meditations really interesting and had some profound experiences especially since I didn’t believe I would find any Gate-keepers. In the meditation, Dakara walks you through to firstly identify if you have have a Gate-keeper and then she helps you find out why the Gate-keeper is around. Usually the Gate-keeper is protecting you. Once Gate-keeper is found it can be sent into the light, so to speak. Dakara has free downloads on her website where she walks you and others through this process.
It may seem a bit confusing that there are so many different spiritual teachers stating different tools but it’s a blessing because you get to find at least one or more of these teachings resonate with your spirit, you get to pick and choose which ones are right for you at this particular time in your life.
