Emmanuel Dagher – Going beyond positivity and flexibility.

In a previous post I wrote about what Emmanuel had to say about aligning the ego and heart in order to receive messages from your higher self.   This post is about looking at aspects / getting a new perspective on why we sometimes don’t follow through on those ‘a-ha’ moments.    I guess this post is for those people that have issues with procrastination and self sabotage.   The main thing I got from listening to what Emmanuel had to say was this – ‘you can put yourself first or put yourself last, you can make yourself a priority or not a priority’.  Something to consider each time you catch yourself not following through on things you know you should take actions on.    You can spend time struggling with thoughts of ‘I can’t do it, it’s too hard and so on’…..but really it comes down to ‘you’ dropping ‘you’ when you should be putting yourself at the top of the list.    Firstly you can start with accepting these procrastinating or self sabotaging aspects of yourself rather than beating yourself up about this essence of who you are at this time in your life.

Going beyond positivity:

A lot of positivity programs focus on you working on fixing what is damaged within you, and in particular finding ways to get rid of your ego.   A person ends up fixing one issue about them and what is really going on when they are ‘fixing’ themselves is a belief that there is something wrong with them. According to a lot of spiritual guru’s such as Emmanuel Dagher and Panache Desai…the goal isn’t about ‘fixing’ what is broken but becoming aware of issues and then accepting this part of you (not fixing it).   So basically you are who you are at this point of time in your life.  For instance you can try to fix your ‘self procrastinating ways’ by taking assertiveness classes, saying positive affirmations (which are good but at same time you are denying you procrastinate) and allowing thoughts to run through your head about how you have to do something to get rid of your procrastination (again denying).    So I’m not knocking positivity here…but it is important to accept who you are…good and bad.    For instance…accept low procrastination…if that is where you are at, and accept with all your heart.  “I know I procrastinate all the time.  I procrastinate that is what I do.  I love my procrastinating ways.  Thank you for showing me where I am at so I can fully own who I am.  I accept my procrastination because it is a part of me and every part of me I love sincerely.  (Seriously you should try this…you will feel your energy lift really quickly, and once you accept you kind of automatically just heal (rather than fixing).

….we are all energetic beings.  Everything has vibration.  When there are blocks in our life it is always energetic…usually comes down to not being truly who we are (we deny aspects of ourselves).   Every physical disorder is started from an energy root cause ….if stuff isn’t processed (accepted) or resolved it starts to build up in the body…and the final step is the body telling you via illness…e.g. headache usually down to rigidity e.g. being hard on yourself.  Liver problems usually about not wanting to see or digest something you see in yourself.  Eye problems are usually about what you do not want to face about yourself, others, past, etc.  Although by the time the problem such as eye problems actually comes about the issues that caused it may be long forgotten.

This is where you have a relationship with your heart and ego rather than fighting them.   Most positive courses, because they require you to bring up bad stuff about yourself for fixing…you kind of focus on what is wrong with you…and you may actually start to feel bad about yourself.  So it is counterproductive or doing the opposite of what you were wanting.    When we accept all aspects of ourselves we are telling our mind/ego that it can work with the heart.   Why?  Because we are no longer battling with our ego…we are no longer requiring our ego/child to focus on what is wrong as there is actually nothing wrong with us.   We are giving ego permission to not be protective of us.  Our ego is meant to be the observer of experiences and not the protector of denial.  Denial is the opposite of experiencing.

When we are out of ‘mind’ and in the heart, we have ‘a- ha’ moments or find ourselves becoming more intuitive.

We have to try and understand that ‘positivity’ and ‘accepting mind’ are two different things.   One focuses on us denying what is actually ‘true’ about us by diverting our attention to ways of fixing…and the other is about not diverting but actually looking fully at our issue and totally accepting it for what it is…our truth – and there is nothing wrong with this ‘truth’.

Going beyond positivity requires going beyond flexibility:

In hindsight this seems obvious…that you actually need to be flexible in order to go after what you want – in hindsight.     It is amazing though that it never occurred to me to have an awareness of my ‘flexibility’.     In order to follow through on those ‘a-ha’ moments is more about being flexible and less about positivity.     Emmanuel asked us to think about ‘are we being rigid’ when it comes to how things are meant to pan out.   Do we believe that it has to be ‘this way or that way’ when taking action.

Since divine downloads or intuition or a-ha moments come from outside the 3rd dimension why are we expecting to follow through on this divine stuff using 3rd dimensional rigidity.    He suggests that we see the world or taking action on our dreams ‘through the eyes of children’.   Seeing everything as magical is an important step.     When you see the world as magical, rigid flexibility has no place in this world.  It might help to remember that we are spiritual energetic beings having human 3rd dimensional experiences aligning with 4/5 dimensional miracle download experiences.

When you are flexible you always make yourself a priority.  You put yourself first.  If you would like to hear more from Emmanuel Dagher or many other great speakers just Click Here.

Show the mind how to be flexible mentally, emotionally, physically etc.  For instance by always hearing ego out, accepting it, telling ego – spirit will always take care of me and when your manifesting always end it with…’this or something better now manifests for me’…because this shows the mind how to be flexible.   The mind is then more willing to co-operate with heart since it is allowed to just be an observer and have experiences.

Gratitude is another really important aspect of being flexible.  Gratitude equates to what you manifest back to yourself.  What you are most thankful about you focus on, what you focus on (with such heart as gratitude) comes back to you.    This may seem contradictory after I wrote about being thankful for your procrastination.  But it may be hard to get but when you accept your procrastination you are accepting ‘you’ and not actually ‘procrastination’ thus what you attract to yourself is more of ‘you’.  You are not broken.  You are ‘I AM’ presence.     If your focusing on ‘I’ve got to get rid of this and that then that is what you kept ‘attracting’ to yourself, more of what you need to fix, get rid of, this and that.

Healing is not about changing anything but remembering who we are.  There is nothing to fix about ourselves….this tells us we are not enough…and away from who we truly are.  So trust the universe who created you…thus you can heal by remembering who you are…and then receive miracles that is from your  I AM self.

Well Emanuel then took us all through an exercise which was about….making peace with the heart and mind.  This enabled us to release stuff that was preventing us from living our lives.

First thing he got us to do…was bring in our  I AM consciousness and to enable us to see what the ‘ego’ really was.    The ego is simply that I AM presence that is within us.   He got us to think of the universe creator / intuition and how it has a purpose for ‘ego’.  When we allow the ego to do what it is meant to be doing such as…observe experiences rather than worrying – it aligns…with heart.        He got us to show the mind it was safe to trust the heart….show the mind that it was safe to be, by choosing to accept the mind rather than ignoring it, being hard on it or detesting it.   The ego has its rightful place within us, and with the heart.

Other stuff that Emmanuel touched upon:

Mantras:   think outside of the box when wanting to attract abundance.    Mantras have been used for 1000’s of years.  What is it exactly?   It is kind of like affirmations but very different…mantras focus more on I AM presence.  If you automatically shunned this then could your mind be inflexible.  LOL when he brought Mantra’s up my ego did just this…..”mantra’s – I don’t think so!”

Check out utube for clips on mantra ‘being schreem’.

Soul mates:

Soul mates – How flexible are you when it comes to soul mates.   Look at the idea that we have more than one soul mate because we have many depending on where we are currently at in our life.  Soul mates can show up as lovers, friends, family, work colleagues, strangers we meet for only a moment in time.   Be open to the fact that where we are energetically in our lives – attracts those soul mates that are also vibrating at the same energetic level.   If we feel less than by not accepting ourselves, we attract similar.

What is coming up in 2013:

A collective consciousness shift around being more heart- centered.    More people will want to return to free markets such as giving and receiving in other ways like bartering.    Money is energy; it is just a reflection of where we are at.   Relationships between countries shifting…old mentalities not going to work …..more I feel / a heart centered way of experiencing finances.

  1. Hi Joseph, yep I found this to be a real eye opener for me too. Especially that fact that we can just go right pass positivity and just take a look at whether we are being flexible.

  2. This is a real eye opener. I have really learnt a lot about myself and why I do the things I do. Inspiring piece.
